Lehigh Parkway is a public park located in Allentown, Pennsylvania. It is home to the Bogert Homestead, more commonly known as Hunter's Cabin, which was first built in 1741. Considered one of the oldest historical structures in Allentown, this cabin was last restored in 2018. It has stood up through the weathering of every season for the last 280 years.
The Little Lehigh Creek runs through the middle of park, and is a destination for local fly-fishermen. Six miles of trail loop through the park, incorporating five bridges.
Allentown's Lehigh Parkway hosts many events throughout the year, including 5k fun runs, kayak racing, and an annual Christmas light show. All photos by Bethany Brown.
