The East Penn School District presented their draft for the new Comprehensive Plan and New Teacher Induction Plan for public review on their website. The Pennsylvania Department of Education requires all school districts to submit a “Comprehensive Plan” every three years. These proposals describe the future plans each school district has to ensure their students will receive the best education. By utilizing a planning process like this, EPSD hopes to provide enhanced student quality and improve performance results.
The plans for 2025-2028 outline EPSD’s goals and strategies to guarantee professional development and educational distinction. The 28-day public review period occurred from Jan. 13 through Feb. 10, which allowed the community to share their feedback. The students, staff, and community members had access to send in their feedback on the website, allowing EPSD to edit the drafted Comprehensive Plan.
