As The Stinger’s dedicated former Arts & Culture Editor Thiffany Reimao approaches the conclusion of her high school journey, and she looks forward to attending Kutztown University, majoring in paralegal psychology.

Reimao aspires to pursue a career as a behavioral analyst, as well as work in crime counseling. Reimao’s decision to work towards a career in crime counseling was influenced by the show “Criminal Minds,” as she was intrigued by the concept of helping unique individuals, as well as studying the brain and learning behaviors.

Stinger: What extracurricular activities do you participate in?

Reimao: I’m Arts & Culture Editor in The Stinger. I’m secretary in the Young Democrats Club, and have been a Girl Scout for about eight years.

Stinger: What is your favorite article that you have written?

Reimao: I really liked the article I wrote about my siblings living far away. I thought that was very personal, and I thought that was the first time other people kind of related to my writing.

Stinger: What advice would you give to underclassmen?

Reimao: I would say be very forgiving to yourself. High school is definitely a learning experience. You’re not going to be the same person that you’re going to become as a senior as soon as you step into the building as a freshman.

Stinger: What is your favorite memory from your high school experience?

Reimao: I would say Junior Prom. I felt surrounded by all my best friends. We danced to good music, and it reminded me to appreciate all these silly cultural things that nobody else in my family has experienced before.

Stinger: What is your favorite movie?

Reimao: My favorite, number one movie in the world is “Gnomeo & Juliet.” That is the best movie I’ve ever seen in my life. I talk about it every single day, and I grew up with it.
