For over 104 years, The Stinger has revealed the truths of the high school experience, highlighted student successes, and provided the public with a compelling print issue revealing the student dynamics and inner workings of Emmaus High School. Until this month, the paper has mainly focused on written stories as opposed to showing the live interviews behind the stories it tells. The Stinger will release our “What’s the Buzz?” video podcast this month on both YouTube and Spotify, showcasing new stories by sitting down with students, teachers, and more to ask the pressing questions and share plenty of laughs along the way.
         “What’s the Buzz?” kicks off with the story of Will Peck and Gavin Yartymyk. The senior varsity men’s soccer goalies have been dividing playing time and breaking the boundaries that being a varsity athlete normally entails through their ability to work as a pair. They share their stories of their beginnings and where they hope to one day find themselves, while also touching on all of the chaos in between. Much will be uncovered through the podcast’s interview-style questions and recurring segments.  These segments will including “10 Quick Questions” to gain insight into the interviewee’s personal lives, a quick game of “We’re not Really Strangers” to dig a little deeper into the guest’s perspectives, and our “Ask the Queen Bee” segment, which asks our guests for some advice on the issues and problems the students of EHS are facing.
         “What’s The Buzz?” aims to showcase the students, teachers, and other guests’ realities that interact with Emmaus High School, while having a lot of fun in the process. Tune in at @WhatsTheBuzzEHS on YouTube and enjoy!
