Seniors sprawl around the Emmaus High School football field, feeling the turf between their hands. As they laugh together with their friends, they take in the view of the sun rising on the horizon. On Sept. 24, this becomes a reality. At 6:30 a.m. seniors will gather to enjoy Senior Sunrise together before school begins.
The week following Senior Sunrise, the class of 2026 will gather to take a group photo on Oct. 3 during Hornet Homeroom. Lastly, the seniors will finish this saga with Senior Breakfast on Oct. 10, the morning of the Homecoming Tailgate.
These upcoming events allow seniors to come together and they make memories of their last school year together before they split off on different paths. Beyond the events occurring in the next two weeks, there are several more exciting activities planned throughout the school year, such as Senior Sunset and Senior Ball.
While bittersweet celebrations, these events make the seniors’ final high school year memorable and a reminder that no matter where they go in the future, they’re still part of the EHS community.
